Lo scorso settembre, in occasione dell’uscita di A proposito di Davis, i registi Joel e Ethan Coen avevano organizzato insieme a T-Bone Burnett un concerto di beneficienza che riuniva tutti gli artisti presenti nella colonna sonora del film. Jack White, Elvis Costello, Marcus Mumford, The Avett Brothers furono soltanto alcuni degli artisti che si esibirono in quell’evento chiamato “Another Day, Another Time: Celebrating the Music of Inside Llewyn Davis”.
Ora quel concerto è diventato un disco live che uscirà il 13 Gennaio e al cui interno ci saranno non solo le performance dal vivo di altri cantanti e gruppi come Conor Oberst, Colin Meloy (The Decemberist), Joan Baez, Gillian Welch, Lake Street Dive, Rhiannon Giddens, Willie Watson, The David Rawlings Machine, Punch Brothers e Secret Sisters, ma anche le esibizioni di alcuni componenti del cast della pellicola come Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver e Carey Mulligan.
I proventi del concerto saranno destinati al National Recording Preservation Foundation, un ente di beneficenza che mira a preservare gli archivi di musica e radio.
